Letters, Words, and More

Wish you were here

W ash the gray ashes, blow the blinding dirt
I mplied thoughts within one's oblivious soul
S inging endless streams and timeless rift
H urtle from the deep crevices, dark as coal

    Y urts blown away asunder
    O ctodecillion light-years of decimation
    U topian cleansing; inhumane, unutterable

W alk away, run, hide; and
E ach string pulls one backwards.
R etrogression calling, mountains of sand
E xacting an explosion of innards

H old onto hope; don't fall
E ntertain a bright future; build one
R ear the present, like your herd
E ndeavor to create an acceptable realm

    let's fly, you and I
    soar high up the sky
    'coz you are a wing,
    and I the other

    with one, we fall
    with both, we soar

    flabbergasted world
    with dream's domain in tow
wake up and with open eyes
extend sights to a new horizon

    loud grumbles!
    must be the stomach
    longing to be refilled
    must be the hunger
    putting abrupt, anomalous thought

    above lines may be nonsensical
but I sure wish you were here
